Imagine getting married in a forest where trees surround you for miles in every direction, and you have your little home base of a cabin in the middle of it. You grew up here and it made it that much more meaningful to get married there. You drive up a little dirt road up into the mountains, and these woods have so much meaning to you as you drive by them each and every time.
Tina and James had the sweetest elopement consisting of only about 10 people in this forest. They shared such sweet moments with their family, and their family burnese mountain dog as well. It was such a beautiful setting to get married under the trees. They call it Tri-Top Meadows, because as you go through the photos you can see the 3 trees together at the ceremony site.
I love elopements like this because it was simple yet beautiful and meaningful at the same time! The forest provided such a beautiful backdrop for bridal photos. And their cozy little house in the woods provided them with their first dance in the kitchen. There was deck that had the prettiest mountain views in the distance, and birds hopping on the deck railing as we all got ready inside. This deck also served as the first look spot with the bride and her father. Her dress was also handmade by her mom just for her! You can still incorporate special details into elopement days as well!
All in all this day was so special, and we bonded over our shared obsession with Pokémon and video games as well with them! Here's the photos from their forest elopement day.
