About

"We felt so grateful that we had chose her to shoot our wedding for many reasons, but one being that she put genuine love, focus, and energy into our elopement."

WHY I CHOSE TO SPECIALIZE IN ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY
When I first started photography I was just 13 years old, taking photos of birds in my backyard was my absolute favorite. I'd sit for hours at the window, writing down every bird I saw, and kept my bird ID book at my side.
My family used to take rides into the mountains, and took family summer vacations to national parks. Photographing birds and wildlife gave me such joy. I kept my camera around my neck, ready to photograph anything. And living and growing up in North Idaho, there's such an abundance of beauty in the scenery, the wildlife, everything.
Later down the road, I photographed my first traditional wedding in 2017, and photographed those kinds of weddings for a few years after that. But for each traditional wedding, I came home not feeling excited or passionate about the work I did. I dreaded going to a wedding, and I didn't feel excited at all.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, I learned about elopements. It combined everything I had loved growing up, and changed everything for me. In 2019, I photographed my very first elopement which was my best friend's elopement on the Oregon Coast, and in 2020 I made the full switch to photographing elopements. Each elopement was such an incredible and memorable experience, and I knew I had found my niche.
I also had a traditional wedding myself when I got married in 2017. While it still means a lot to me and my husband, looking back, both of us wish we had eloped. We had guests inviting themselves, family inviting people we hardly knew, and it wasn't fully about us.
So now getting to help other couples elope in my "Idahome" is like a full circle moment for me, and it is so fulfilling. My couples travel from across to country to elope in my backyard, and it blows my mind every single day. I am so grateful!

What's Unique About Working With Me
I HAVE BEEN DOING PHOTOGRAPHY FOR OVER HALF MY LIFE
It all started when I was just 13 years old. From photographing birds in the dumping snow in freezing temperatures to taking northern lights photos late at night, I’ve photographed in all the elements which has prepared me for working in the outdoors for your elopement.
I'M A BORN AND RAISED IDAHO LOCAL
As an Idaho local, I have an arsenal of scenic locations to share with you, along with the guidance and logistics to help guide you through the whole process, even if you’ve never been to Idaho before or if you’re coming from across the country to elope in this gorgeous gem state.
I'LL ONLY BOOK 15 COUPLES A YEAR
So I can truly put my full energy into each of my couples individually to give them the best experience possible. My couples and I also often become friends after we work together.
I'VE BEEN PHOTOGRAPHING WEDDINGS SINCE 2017
I originally started out photographing traditional weddings in 2017, and made the switch to elopements in 2021. Having 8 years in the wedding industry has given me a lots of experience.

I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode of Spongebob at least 50 times (cue the Best Day Ever song), and Star Wars are some of my favorite movies.
