Frequently Asked Questions

adventure bridals in the idaho mountains

 1. What do I need to do to book a date with you?

After inquiry, I like to set up a phone call to get to know you and more about your day! If you book with me, I require a reservation fee taken off of the total amount of the package. This ensures that no other bookings can be booked on your date. This is due upon the signing of my photography contract.

2. What happens if there's bad weather the day of our session?

I think certain bad weather adds so much visual interest to photos, such as wind. If there's supposed to be bad weather during our session that can't be worked with like drenching rain and thunderstorms, message me to let me know if you're thinking about postponing. We can reschedule as long as there's a day we are both available on. If for an elopement, we can have a backup location ready!

3. How long will it take for us to get our photos back and how are they delivered?

For regular sessions it takes about 1-2 weeks. These sessions are delivered via an online gallery.

For elopements it takes about 4-6 weeks. These sessions are delivered via an online gallery.

4. Are you willing to travel?

I am willing to travel to you! I am based in Idaho, but will travel to anywhere in the Pacific Northwest and beyond to capture your day. My packages have travel included!

5. How many images do we get?

For regular sessions I promise 50+ images.
For 8 hour elopements I promise 300+ images.

6. What should I wear to our adventure or engagement session?

I have a blog post called Session Style Guide that goes over some outfit ideas and what colors go well together! You can also send me a message for some input! I love helping pick out outfits!

7. What is an elopement?

Elopements aren't what they used to be. Elopements are a meaningful way to get married with the guests being the closest people to you at a location that is meaningful. Guest count is usually 25 people or less. Locations range from backyards, mountaintops, ocean cliffs, or to other countries. They are focused solely on you and your other half celebrating your love and getting married. My favorite type of wedding. Read more about elopements here!

8. Do you give out RAW images?

The simple answer is no. I edit all of my images according to my artistic style, and that's one of the reasons my clients book me based off of.

9. Do you help with the planning process?

YES! As your elopement photographer, I am also your elopement planner! Anything you need help with, I'm there! Things like permits, timelines, backup locations, vendor recs, location scouting, etc. I've got you covered!

10. Can you "photoshop" us?

Other than clearing minor blemishes or cuts/bruises, I do not alter the way my clients look. I am all about my photos being natural, and them not being fake in the final photo.
